Nature Wander

Forest Therapy

Switch off from your everyday life and into a space of tranquility

Autumn Wander

Sunday September 28th 10:00 - 12:30

Back at one of our favourite places in North Lincolnshire, Owlet Woods. Here as you step into the woodland, its almost feels like your are being hugged by the trees. That in itself offers so much within.

You will be guided through a number of Nature based therapies to help you feel nurtured, connected and revitalised. These offerings will help you to slow down and feel like you have stepped a million miles away from your “normal” life of demands, time constraints and non stop treadmill of life.

You will experience:

  • Forest Bathing

  • Soundscapes ( Spring especially offers the most wonderful bird song)

  • Mindful Photography

  • Stillness and Silence

  • Forest Breathing

  • Connection with our community of the day.

Often participants talk about feeling completely refreshed, gaining clarity and focus and like they have have been on a mini break.

This session will be from 10 - 12:30.

On registration, you will be asked to complete a short form to ensure that we are aware of any health challenges or allergies that we may need to make allowances for.

This day is not a hike, we do not walk that far - it is also not a nature talk, so we will not be offering information about specific plant life or birds in the area.

Instead it is an opportunity to offer some time to yourself, to care for your own wellbeing, to feel nurtured by simply pausing and taking a breath within this wonderful naturescape.

You will need to bring snacks and water with you on the day . Please be aware that there are no toilets at these woods.
