Nature Journalling

Exploring our inner and outer landscapes

To feel the breath of wildness come into your body is to reclaim your natural wholeness”

Exploring our inner and outer landscapes

We are intrinsically connected with nature.

There is so much within the land that we are drawn to that reflects back to our inner soul.

From the silence of a dessert to the intriguing mystery of a forest, the solidness of a mountain and the flow of a river……

Childhood memories and the stories they tell us in the clarity of adulthood understanding.

The mythical legends of the land and how these speak to us.

The unquenchable thirst for knowledge of wisdoms and past living.

There is so much to explore and writing is a great way to do just this.

I didn’t think i would have much to write and i’ve written pages - Ive loved this class

Guided Classes in 2025.

Our classes offer a guided journey of exploration. They offer a series of invitations using classic writing prompts and techniques.

Last year we ran a series at the beautiful Normanby Hall in North Lincolnshire. These were wonderful to share in both the woodlands and within the old house.

We plan to offer further sessions of these classes throughout 2025 as pop sessions; preferably within the woodlands or along our shores.

They will include one of our classic guided nature writing session, introducing us to how Nature truly informs our inner nature, deep within us.

This will also enable us to explore our own journey through our connection and reflections with the forest or bodies of water, depending on where we go.

We may also offer other forms of expression including poetry and mindful photography; bringing us back to our natural world and to our authentic selves.

All of these sessions offer added grounding, breathing and relaxation elements and can also be booked on a 1-1 Nature Mentoring session.

We plan to also have a couple of virtual classes later in the year, where we will explore out relations with mountains and a further class to explore with the ocean landscape.

These will probably be offered via Insight Timer which s free for you to join.

You can keep an eye out for any of these events through our Calendar or Eventbrite

Journalling Therapy

Journalling is used as part of therapy in a wide range of settings.

It offers a wide range of benefits including reducing stress and strengthening immune systems, it can boost our mood and strengthen our emotional management.

There is no right or wrong was to journal; it can be a stream of words, a poem or prose, a picture, a painting or even words from a quote or a song.

It is simply a means to express your thoughts, your feelings in the here and now. A way of gaining clarity within a situation or deepening our understanding of how we connect.

Wow, I felt so refreshed and cleansed after this session - I feel like I’ve had my own therapy session. ~ AD
