What does it mean to care for yourself
Caring for yourself isn’t a luxury its absolutely essential.
It’s about understanding your own needs; accepting, respecting and honouring without judgement.
It’s learning to love yourself, all of yourself - even those parts which don’t feel so pretty.

Classes and Workshops
It can feel so much easier to focus our attention on others ; our children, partners family and friends.
However if we continually ignore ourselves and only turn our attention to ourselves when we are worn out and have nothing else to give; our physical and emotional health will be impacted and suffer as a consequence.
The impacts of isolation, neglect and loneliness is documented as effecting all our health and wellbeing - and when we do not even glimpse at ourselves, this is basically what we are doing and doing to ourselves.
We are all good at helping others, we are also good at not looking after all of our needs fully. These classes are a gentle way to remember what it’s like to offer ourselves a little time and thought. They focus on us. From recognising some of the basic bodily needs that we forget to give ourselves ( like needing a drink of water or even needing to use the toilet, but waiting until you have finished a task or have “time” )
Looking at our basic needs through to treating ourselves with kindness and a little tenderness to establishing our goals and dreams - there a variety of classes and workshops that can meet your needs.
It is true to say that navigating our way through our thoughts and feelings can sometimes feel vulnerable; working together in small groups helps to support each other, expand our insights, wisdoms and an opportunity to witness our journeys together.
