Bringing more quiet and silence into your life has many benefits for our mind and body.
We will be having a few pop silent walk and sit sessions this year.
They will offer a short saunter through Nature (we will pick a variety of landsacpes) followed by just sitting with ourselves for a short period of time before returning back.
This entire session is in silence and offers the chance to wander out in the safety of a group whilst experiencing the power of Nature at the same time.
Most of us live in a totally noise polluted world. This over stimulating environment and life does not enable our minds and bodies to repair and rebalance.
Strolling through the woods, listening to the leaves rustle in the wind, the sound of our feet stepping on the earth … pausing to observe a bird on a branch, touch the bark of a tree, smell the scent of a flower, or taste the sweetness of a berry growing in the wild.
When we do this, most of us remember just how good this feels. We know that nature is a balm, a place of peace that soothes the soul.
The silence we experience there is unlike the silence we experience anywhere else. It’s silence in its purest form, the kind that quiets the mind, calms the body, and aligns the spirit with something greater than itself.
Each session will be around one hour with the option to have a cuppa afterwards for discussions and chat.
